Promotional username
I'm simply inquiring, how do you know that User:Falkon4D and User:DrySocketpdx are promotional usernames? They don't seem promotional to me, nothing like "WE SELL EXCLUSIVE MARKETING SERVICES SEO AT blahblahblah.com". I would like to know how you can determine that its promotional compared to someone just thinking of a good username given Wikipedia is one of the most famous sites on the Web. DotesConks (talk) 00:22, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- @DotesConks: Are you monitoring my edits to WP:UAA? I only report there if the account has made blatantly promotional contributions related to their username. That's the case for the two accounts you linked. ~Liancetalk 00:28, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Liance Yes, I am in fact referring to UAA. What about Falkon4D and DrySocketpdx's contributions are promotional and how do they relate to their username? Just asking DotesConks (talk) 00:30, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- If you check their edits, one user inserted a blatant advertisement into an existing article while the other authored a draft about the subject they are promoting. From that, it's clear the usernames are promotional and against WP policy (see WP:PROMONAME). ~Liancetalk 11:38, 20 March 2025 (UTC)

Popping by to say thanks for consistently leaving warning messages after you revert problem edits. That makes it so much easier to identify (and justify) a block when it's needed. Really appreciate it! Joyous! Noise! 01:50, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Question about Draft:Hidden_City:_Hidden_Object_Adventure
Hi! My draft Draft:Hidden_City:_Hidden_Object_Adventure was declined yesterday, and I don't see any comments explaining the reason. Could you please help me with this? What needs to be edited in order to pass the review?
Thanks! DaniKro (talk) 08:31, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- @DaniKro: Hey there, a previous decliner left a comment that the subject didn't pass WP:GNG and I declined it for the same reason. You'll need to find several reliable, secondary, independent sources to establish notability. See WP:NGAME as well. Best, ~Liancetalk 16:58, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, Liance, for your reply! Just to clarify, do I understand correctly that the additional sources I've added from Metacritic, 148apps, and Affärsvärlden business magazine are not considered reliable enough? Could you please provide more details on what kind of sources are expected, and how many should be included in the article? Thanks! DaniKro (talk) 14:44, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
- As a reminder, we require significant coverage in several reliable sources. Metacritic is a review aggregator, meaning it is not, on its own, a source that can be used to demonstrate notability here. 148apps isn't considered a strong reliable source per WP:VG/S (though that may be up to debate). Affärsvärlden only mentions the game in passing, and in the context of the parent company's financials - again, we require significant coverage about the topic to meet the notability criteria. Hope this helps. ~Liancetalk 00:12, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for explaining why the current references are not sufficient to meet the requirements. I suppose I should wait for the given 6-month timeframe before the draft is deleted, and in the meantime I might find additional reliable sources that may support the article and resubmit the draft. Thank you again for your guidance. DaniKro (talk) 09:29, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- The 6-month duration is only there to remove drafts that have been abandoned. There's no deadline otherwise, you're free to continue to work on your draft if you think you can find enough sources to establish notability of the subject. Once you've addressed the previous declines you're welcome to resubmit. ~Liancetalk 23:44, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

Link Deleted
I was just wondering why? The message said the link added seemed inappropriate, but the whole page was a list of links of noteworthy coaches. The coach added has a youtube page with over 10k subscribers, a million views, and over a hundred videos. Was wondering why that wouldn't be considered a good addition. 99.72.49.36 (talk) 17:39, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- List entries on Wikipedia should only include entries to notable subjects, that is, they have a wiki page, or you can demonstrate their notability through cited reliable sources. We also don't include external links in article content. ~Liancetalk 17:43, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
Villain Of Your Dreams Tour article
Hi,
your repeatedly declined my submission for a new article. I added as much information I could, I was present at one of the shows, so I can't really cite any source for some of the information. My draft contains more information than some of the other concert tours pages. Link to the article: Draft:Villain Of Your Dreams Tour
If you can, reply with what could I possibly change or add.
Thank you so much. Appreciate your help! Iamabeautykiller (talk) 20:32, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
- As outlined in the decline notice, articles on Wikipedia have to meet the notability criteria through significant coverage in reliable cited sources. The only sources at the time of review were Instagram and setlist.fm, neither of which are reliable. ~Liancetalk 00:04, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- There is no press releases, news articles or anything similar about this tour. Jon is a very small artist, so there wasn't a lot of promo for the tour. All of the Instagram links are posts published by Jon herself and I really can't think of a better source than the artist itself. I don't see the reason why setlist.fm would be unreliable, as it's one of the biggest (if not the biggest) websites for setlists. Do you want an official letter from the artist and her management company? Would that be enough?
- I was personally present at one of the shows, so I can vouch for the information written in the article. In terms of stage design & songs played, I have most of them recorded, so I can provide video evidence of my claims, although I don't think they're usable for a Wikipedia page. Iamabeautykiller (talk) 17:13, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- As stated in the decline notice, you'll need to find several reliable sources with significant coverage of the subject to demonstrate notability. If these requirements aren't able to be satisfied, then the topic isn't considered notable, and isn't suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia unfortunately. ~Liancetalk 23:42, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
Vienna Airport Taxi
Hey there, I've made requested changes (missing ref's). Can you please check? Thanks! Wiener2025 (talk) 16:14, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- I don't usually re-review by request. You can resubmit the draft and another reviewer will be able to pick it up. ~Liancetalk 21:36, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
Photo for This is Gavin Newsom article
Also, is there any way I can put the logo of the podcast onto the infobox about it? Editorthatedits (talk) 20:06, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Editorthatedits: Nice work on the article! I've bumped it to B-class rating, as it seems to be very well written and adequately sourced. Great job - thank you for contributing!
- You can add the podcast's logo with the Wikipedia:File upload wizard, using the "Upload a non-free file" option. It should guide you through the proper steps. Once that's done, you can set the "image" property of the infobox to the name of the uploaded file, and it will display. ~Liancetalk 21:35, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, I uploaded the image? Can you format it better? For some odd reason it's not centered. Editorthatedits (talk) 21:47, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Note that "?" was a typo after image Editorthatedits (talk) 21:47, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Done, I just removed the thumbnail formatting. Looks good now. ~Liancetalk 21:49, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks! I just added another picture to the article. Turns out it shows up when you search "Gavin Newsom" on Wikipedia! Also, how can improve this article so it can be considered a "good article? Do you have some feedback I could follow? Editorthatedits (talk) 22:07, 31 March 2025 (UTC)

- @Editorthatedits: "Good article" has some pretty specific requirements compared to the other classifications - the article will have to meet the Wikipedia:Good article criteria, and if you feel that it does, you can take a look at the nomination instructions. A reviewer will go over the criteria, and provide feedback for you on how to improve the article. I don't do GA reviews, but I think you have a good start at This is Gavin Newsom! I would make sure you've cited reliable sources to back up stated facts, and that the other criteria have been met. ~Liancetalk 22:14, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Alright, I nominated the article and it’s on hold since I need to take some suggestions from the reviewer. Also the cover of the podcast doesn’t show in search results when you search for the article, is that a Wikipedia policy? Can you fix that? Editorthatedits (talk) 19:29, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- It did before so I’m curious. Editorthatedits (talk) 19:29, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how search results thumbnails work, but generally copyrighted works don't appear in previews and other parts of the wiki (for legal reasons I presume). Not sure if that's something you or I could change, unfortunately. Good luck on your GA nomination though! ~Liancetalk 21:17, 1 April 2025 (UTC)

Carsten Saft page
Thank you for moving the draft! Could you explain if I'm allowed to publish the page directly. After visiting this page, I was reminded that I got such a permission in 2022. Does it still apply to me? Or should I wait for a review? User:Pippin2k (talk) 20:55, 1 April 2025 (CET)
- @Pippin2k: If you have autoconfirm permission, yes, you are allowed to directly create articles. Creating a draft is optional for logged in editors, so you can move the page out of the draft space yourself. You're also welcome to wait for feedback from an AfC reviewer however. ~Liancetalk 21:15, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
Note about submitted draft for new page De re rustica
Wanted to note for you one thing - "De re rustica" currently re-directs to the page for Columella. That is an incorrect re-direct; one of the reasons why I made the page and submitted it. The works of Columella and Varro are often bundled together. Varro wrote De re rustica, NOT Columella. Wanted to note this for you for clarification. Thanks, Acaeton (talk) 17:37, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Acaeton: If the draft is accepted by an AfC reviewer, they will be able to remove the redirect with Template:Db-afc-move and your draft can take its place. In the meantime, if you think there's issues with the live redirect, you can list it at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion with your reasoning. Might be worth bringing this up at Talk:Columella as well. Best, ~Liancetalk 19:43, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Request for feedback on Draft:Narinder Lamba
Hi Liance — I’ve drafted an article on Draft:Narinder Lamba, a pioneering Indian urban planner who worked closely with Le Corbusier on Chandigarh and served as Chief Town Planner of Punjab. The article is well-sourced (government publications, ITPI, Ministry of Tourism) and follows Wikipedia tone and structure. Would appreciate any feedback or help in getting it reviewed in AfC. Thanks so much! Wikieditorkitt (talk) 22:01, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Your draft was declined unfortunately. I left a comment along with the decline reasoning. You need to provide more reliable sources to back up statements in addition to more sourcing needed to demonstrate notability of the subject. ~Liancetalk 22:07, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Bryan Leiniger
Hello Liance, sorry for my update, but I'm not able to put references. However this is the reference about Bryan Leininger death. Obituary information for Bryan John Leininger (bestfuneralservices.com) Please update it. Emanuele. 79.35.226.175 (talk) 22:42, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- See Help:Referencing for beginners for a guide on how to do so. You're welcome to re-add the date of death if you can add a reliable source alongside it. Best, ~Liancetalk 23:23, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
