Les Hauts-d'Anjou[2] (French pronunciation: [le o dɑ̃ʒu] ⓘ, literally The Heights of Anjou) is a commune in the Maine-et-Loire department of western France. The municipality was established on 15 December 2016 by merger of the former communes of Brissarthe, Contigné, Cherré, Champigné, Marigné, Sœurdres and Querré.[3] On 1 January 2019, the former commune Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe was merged into Les Hauts-d'Anjou.[2]
