George Mailov and Partners of Archizdrav Ltd is an architecture firm which consists of the team of architects, designers and engineers. It was founded in 1989 by George Mailov, a Russian architect, a member of the Union of Architects of Russia, National RF Architect, Ph.D in Architecture (IAAC)
Archizdrav Ltd. is one of the leading architectural and designing organisations in Moscow that specialises in comprehensive urban planning, architectural and planning and engineering aspects of designing and author's supervision.
Early life and education
George Mailov (born May 6, 1953, died October 14, 2023 in Prague, Czech) was born in Kislovodsk, Russia. He was the youngest child in the family, with two elder siblings. When George was 16 years old he decided to move to Moscow, where he was successfully accepted in the Moscow Architectural Institute to study architecture, engineering, design and art. Soon after graduating from the University, since 1979 года работал в проектном институте Минздрава РСФСР [1] в должности руководителя группы архитекторов. Career
1989s–2023rd
In 1989 George Mailov together with his wife, also architect, Margarita Mailova, established their own architectural firm Archizdrav Ltd.. The company has been rapidly developing in close cooperation with architects, designers, engineers and their leader and founder of the company that determined the work style and ethics of interaction with a client. The company epitomized its creative ideas in different spheres of construction such as housing, public buildings, sanatoriums, recreational centers and clinics as well as in artistic and designing sphere. The strategy of the company was based on the anticipating initiative principle when architects propose innovative programs and solutions that address social tasks. The most significant project that was launched by the company in 1990 is reconstruction of residential quarter "32-33" of the Vernadskogo District in the Western Administrative District of Moscow, which occupies the area of 118.0 ha, that was approved by the Government of Moscow in 1993. This reconstruction is characterised by the fact that with a huge scope of implementation it required an exceptional virtuosity with respect to accommodation to the existing urban environment and taking into account numerous specific factors, including tight space of construction sites, simultaneous demolition of five-floor buildings and resettlement of residents from them, etc. Nearly 750,000 sq.m housing have been implemented. This resulted in the development of entire infrastructure - utilities and transport network were upgraded, underground parking lots are provided, part of social, domestic and recreational facilities have been built. The concept of reconstruction of quarter 32-33 of the Prospect Vernadskogo District was successfully implemented in the urbanised framework of the largest transport and public artery of Moscow - Leninsky Avenue.

Contemporary High-Rise Apartment and Mixed-Use Buildings]] book (2002) by Donald Trump and 1000 Architects (2004) and 2000 Architects (2005) published by a prestigious company Images Publishing which covered the high-rise building construction by Archizdrav in the context of the global practice.
On July 6, 2007, the Archizdrav firm, which by then was consisted of overall 80 professionals, was granted with the International Certificate of the Decision European Quality for aspiration to achieve high quality in accordance with European standards by European Business Assembly (reg. No. 2351135).
The most important projects developed by the company are related to recreational facilities and medical institutions that include Soyuzgostsirk's (Russian circus) vacation hotel for 250 beds in Kabardinka of the Krasnodar Territory, a hospital for 600 beds with a clinic for 960 visitors per shift of the Metallurgical Works in Kommunarsk (Ukraine), a vacation hotel for 500 beds of the West Siberian Metallurgical Plant on Dolgaya Spit at the Azov Sea, Gazprom 's resort hotel for 300 beds at Dzhugba resort in the Krasnodar Territory, a vacation hotel for 500 beds for parents with children at Dzhankhot resort in the Krasnodar Territory and others. It is possible to extend the list of the most significant projects that deserve attention and to include the following implemented projects: an administrative and business building of the Research Institute Ajinomoto-Genetika, Customer is CJSC AGRI located at: 1 1st Dorozhny Pass, the residential complex Roshcha at Moskovskaya Street in Krasnodar, the residential complex at Gavrilova Street in Krasnodar, Investor is SK-Development.
Apart from the huge number of the implemented projects, the company has developed a few Concept Designs and Proposals, as well as participated in a number of International competitions.
In 2009 the firm Archizdrav Ltd. being the Founder of Self-regulating organisation Non-profit partnership Guild of Architects and Engineers received certificate permitting to perform works that influence the safety of capital construction facilities No. 0477-2010-7729140520-P-3 dated 16.12.10: designing of buildings and structures the level of Responsibility I and II.
