Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in Northern Cyprus in 2025. Incumbent president Ersin Tatar is running for a second term.[1]

Electoral system

The president of Northern Cyprus is elected using the two-round system.[2] If no candidate receives a majority of the vote in the first round, a second is held between the top two candidates.[3]

Opinion polls

In a CMIRS opinion poll in June 2024, 35% of participants identified Tufan Erhürman as their first choice, 29% chose incumbent president Ersin Tatar and 8% selected Mehmet Harmancı.[4]
