DescriptionIn Memory of the Malay regiment at Bukit Chandu.jpg
English: In February 1942, after the lightning march of the Imperial Japanese Army across the Malay Peninsula in just 55 days, the regiment at Bukit Chandu put up brave resistance to the invading army. They fought to the last man. In revenge against their stubbornness to fight and not surrender, the Japanese soldiers bayonetted more than 200 patients at the Alexandra Hospital nearby.
