There are some database sources saying Tiago Gabriel was born in Montauban, near Toulouse in France. It is perfectly possible due to France's huge Portuguese community that he was born there and raised in Cascais, maybe even from before his first birthday. Right now there is a lack of published sources saying anything either way, but most databases swing the Cascais way.

The mystery reminds me of fellow young Portuguese defender in Serie A Alberto Costa (footballer, born 2003), whose name was a mystery when I created the page. Unknown Temptation (talk) 18:01, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
