Sugihara Station (杉原駅, Sugihara-eki) is a railway station on the Takayama Main Line in the city of Hida, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, operated by the Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central).^[1]

Sugihara Station is served by the JR Central Takayama Main Line^[2] and is located 180.5 kilometers from the official starting point of the line at Gifu.

Sugihara Station has two opposed ground-level side platforms connected by a level crossing. The station is unattended.^{[citation needed]}

Sugihara Station opened on August 20, 1932.^{[citation needed]} The station was absorbed into the JR Central network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987.^{[citation needed]}
