American bishop-elect
Lawrence John Sullivan is an American priest of the Catholic Church who serves as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago .
Early life
Sullivan was born in Chicago. He attended Niles College Seminary , followed by Mundelein Seminary . Sullivan was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chicago on May 23, 1992.[ 1]
Episcopacy
Pope Francis appointed Sullivan auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago , assigning him the titular see of Lamfua on December 20, 2024.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4]
