Kim Long (Vietnamese: Xã Kim Long) is a commune of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is one of the 168 new wards, communes and special zones of the city following the reorganization in 2025.[2][3]

Geography

Kim Long lies east of Ho Chi Minh City, roughly 25 kilometers north of Bà Rịa and about 80 kilometers southeast of Saigon ward, within the former Châu Đức area of Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu Province.

According to Official Letter No. 2896/BNV-CQĐP dated May 27, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Kim Long after reorganization has an area of 63.92km², its population as of December 31, 2024 is 33,369 people, and its population density reaches 522 people/km² (statistical data as of December 31, 2024 as stipulated in Article 6 of Resolution No. 76/2025/UBTVQH15 dated April 14, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly).[4]
