Afioga Aliki Faipule Alapati Tavite[1] is a Tokelauan politician who was the Ulu-o-Tokelau from March 2024 to March 2025. The Ulu serves as the dependent territory's head of government.[2][3]

The office of Ulu rotates on an annual basis between the Faipule, atoll leaders, of each of the country's three atolls.[4] As Ulu he chaired the Council for the Ongoing Government of Tokelau.[5]

In March 2025, he was succeeded as Ulu by Esera Fofō Tuisano.[2]

Electoral history

In the 2017 and 2020 general election, Tavite was elected as taupulega, a member of the council of elders, of Nukunonu.[6][7]

In the 2023 Tokelauan general election, Tavite was elected as the Faipule of Nukunonu.[8]

Personal life

He is married to Silivia Tavite, a doctor who has served as Tokelau's Director of Health.[9][10][11]
