The Canadian Shield is an upcoming invitational international men's soccer tournament that will be held in Toronto, Canada. It will be contested by Canada, Ukraine, Ivory Coast and New Zealand. The tournament will take place from June 7 to 10, 2025.[1]
Format
Each team will play two matches; Four matches will be played. 3 points are awarded for a win, 2 points are awarded for a shootout win, while 1 point is awarded for a shootout loss. 0 points are awarded for a loss. All matches ending in a draw will go to a penalty shootout after 90 minutes. The team with the most points after the conclusion of the tournament will be crowned champions.[2]
