It is lighted by LED and charged by PV panels. Its lighting is occulting red, groups of two, 9 seconds return. Its name is 136, that tells it marks the portside (even numbers, international buoyage system A) of the fairway. Counting starts at sea. It has a section which works as radar reflector (the triangle structure below the number plate), the above water part is about 3 meters high, the submerged part is even longer to keep the balance and the buoy upright even in strong current. |
