A zombie, in folklore and horror fiction, is an undead being that should be dead but is walking. A zombie page is likewise a Wikipedia page that should have been deleted, but has avoided death in some questionable way, or has been brought back from the dead. In a subsequent deletion discussion, the use of silver bullets may be proposed, because they are often the preferred method of killing a monster. Silver nitrate, which is a caustic salt of silver that was previously used by surgeons to disinfect wounds and is occasionally used by dentists, may be the appropriate way to salt the earth against a future re-occurrence.
