Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that we don't use ibid and the like for citations. If someone throws in a new source, suddenly you're pointing future readers in the wrong direction.
It would be good to check out WP:REFSTART and WP:REFNAME.
Please let me know if I can help. Happy editing! Snowman304|talk 08:31, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Artist&Architect! Your additions to Draft:Honor Molloy have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Diannaa (talk) 11:08, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Artist&Architect:, hi, recent edits (Twig (film), The Cell Theatre) have shown evidence of copy/pasting. Please refrain from copying sources. Sources should be summarized and referenced. -Bogger (talk) 14:01, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Bogger,
- Thank you so much for your time and consideration! I really appreciate your feedback.
- I have tried to only use copy/paste language in explicit quotes, but will be more careful in the future! I will also be more mindful about utilizing extensive quotations in my contributions.
- I have attempted to address the problems you flagged with The Cell Theatre, please let me know if these revisions are satisfactory.
- Best,

- Pretty good, I can fix some of the other small bits. On general style, lines like "338 W 23rd St was transformed into an art and performance venue in 2006" and "Established with the vision of creating a '21st-century salon,' the Cell has served as a creative hub in the heart of", and reads like official website, or advertorial content. compare it with: "the building at 338 W 23rd St was converted into art and performance venue in 2006" and "The theatre, intended as a '21st-century salon',[citation needed] serves central" which are more neutral and concise. (Not every venue that considers itself as a "21-st century salon" actually has done the work to be considered so.) Also, by writing more neutral content, you get non-copy/pasted content for free ;) -Bogger (talk) 12:05, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- Haha good to know! Thank you again, I really appreciate all of your help.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Maria McDermottroe, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Saltwater (film), Equus and Joe O'Donnell. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:53, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

Coordinating with other editors
Hello, Artist&Architect, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as DomesticMysticism (talk · contribs). IMDB sourcing
IMDB is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:IMDB - please don't use it as a source in articles. Waxworker (talk) 13:33, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello,
- My apologies, I was unaware that IMDb was classed as a "user generated" source. Thank you for making the correction.
- However, did you have to delete my entire table? I spent a lot of time building that, and you could just as easily have updated the sources, or asked me to do so. Artist&Architect (talk) 18:27, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Sumanuil. Thank you for your recent contributions to Swansong: Story of Occi Byrne. I noticed that you added an image to the article's infobox as a thumbnail. In future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox, as this is against the Manual of Style. When adding an image, supply only the filename to the |image= parameter and the caption to the |caption= parameter instead. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using; please consult the Template page for the infobox being used on that page for proper instructions and documentation. Thanks! Sumanuil. (talk to me) 10:14, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Artist&Architect,
Thank you for creating Twig (film).
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Please refrain from copy/pasting from sources. Summarise, or quote (sparingly). Quotes could be shortened, they shouldn't be paragraphs. The current quotes make a sizeable fraction of the article's prose

Thanks for uploading File:The Ulysses Project (2022 film).jpg. Replaceable non-free use File:Catherine Eaton.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Catherine Eaton.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:25, 13 March 2025 (UTC)

Hi Artist&Architect! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Rachel Pickup and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 17:04, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

Better source request for File:The Soul of Christmas.jpg
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 04:53, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Berilla Kerr Foundation

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Berilla Kerr Foundation, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- The page exhibits signs of having been generated by an AI model with no clear human review. Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia and output must be carefully checked. (See the section G15 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 22:56, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
