Direkt an das Gebäude anschliessend, liegt flussabwärts der Stadtteil Schipfe. Im Vordergrund die Limmat, im Hintergrund (Bildmitte rechts) der Lindenhof, der am längsten besiedelte Hügelzug der historischen Altstadt mit den Überresten (Stützmauer und Lindenhofkeller) des römischen Kastells und dem Siedlungsgebiet des keltischen Oppidums Lindenhof.
