- The image is of lower resolution than the original box, and at an oblique angle, so copies made from it will be of inferior quality.
- No free or public domain images equivalent can be found, because this is the copyrighted artwork.
- The image does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the game in any way.
- The image is being used for informational purposes only, to show a typical Scrabble box in a language other than English.
