Description
English: Edric Morisset Edric Norfolk Vaux Morisset was born 22 Jun 1830 on Norfolk Island. He was Commandant of Native Police in Queensland from 1853. Edric was the son of Lieutenant Colonel James Thomas Morisset and he married Eliza Lawson, daughter of William Lawson Jnr and Caroline Icely on 3 Jul 1860. Edric was also superintendent of Police at Bathurst, Maitland and Goulburn, New South Wales. He died in Goulburn 26 Aug 1887.
