Information icon Hello, I'm Sundayclose. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Taxman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 17:29, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Robert P Connolly! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Taxman that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Pertti Ylermi Lindgren moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Pertti Ylermi Lindgren, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Sorry, I just clicked on Publish instead of Submit for review. Robert P Connolly (talk) 10:50, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've just fixed some cites - I can't see any "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Robert P Connolly (talk) 10:57, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I reverted your edit to the lead of Waterloo, Merseyside because the Liverpool City Region is simply the area where a group of combined authority areas are governed by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. The lead section should summarise information in the body of the article, and so citations are generally not needed (WP:LEADCITE), however neither of the references you used mention Waterloo at all. The article for Metropolitan_Borough_of_Sefton explains how it relates to Liverpool City Region Combined Authority so there is no need to mention it in the articles for every constituent town and village, but if it were relevant, it should appear in the Governance section. Thank you for your explanation.

You may want to participate in this discussion, I've nominated Liverpool City Region for deletion as I feel it is too confusing to have an article both for the area and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Orange sticker (talk) 15:16, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:35, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
