Crowned facing bust; VIII in legend, annulet-in-pellet at end of legend
Crowned rose; crowned h R flanking, annulet-in-pellet at end of legend.

In his study of Henry’s testoons, Jacob noted that the dies used for this coin were altered by the addition of the pellet-in-annulet at the end of the legends. While other dies were made with this added mark, these dies are the only ones known to have been altered from the earlier emission without the mark.
