Description
English: Shower and thunderstorm activity had increased during the previous few hours in association with a small area of low pressure (Invest 96L) located just north of the Mona Passage between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Satellite wind data and preliminary reports from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicated that the circulation associated with the low was poorly defined. This image was taken by GOES East at 1745Z on August 22, 2014.
