English: Currently, Algeria's coat of arms is this one, which has been vectorized, optimized, and recolored to resemble the bronze effect of the actual insignia that is displayed on the wall behind the president's office in El Mouradia Palace.

العربية: شعار الجزائر ː يُعتبرُ شعار الجزائر الشِّعَار الرَّسمِي للدولة الجزائرية، يتكون من شمس تشرق من وراء الجبال، من الوسط : يدٌ مصوغة متناظرة حول الأصبع الوسطى، تكون الأصابع المركزية الثلاث منها مجتمعة، بينما يتخذ أصبعا الأطراف شكل منقار حمامة يحمل غصن زيتون، من الأسفل: الهلال والنجمة، وإلى اليمين صندوق الاقتراع تعلوه ثلاث سنابل مفرّقة وأوراق بلوط، على اليسار: غصن زيتون يحمل ثماراً، يكون متراكبا مع سعفة نخيل وتعلوه سقوف ومداخن مصانع وهيكل للتنقيب عن البترول.

In order to be hosted on Commons, all works must be in the public domain in the United States as well as in their source country. The copyright of all Algerian photographs and works of applied art published prior to 1948 had expired in Algeria on the date of restoration (April 19, 1998)[1] pursuant to the provisions of Article 60 of the defunct Ordinance No. 97-10 of 6 March 1997 which was in effect at the time. Such works are thus currently in the public domain in the United States.[2]
