2) Die Benutzung von öffentlichem Archivgut ist grundsätzlich unentgeltlich, es sei denn, dass über die Bereitstellung von Archivgut und die damit verbundene Auskunft und Beratung hinausgehende Leistungen, wie die Herstellung von Reproduktionen und Abschriften, umfangreichere Rechercheleistungen durch das Archivpersonal oder die Erstattung von gutachterlichen Äusserungen, erbracht werden.
3) Bei der Verwendung von Archivgut für Publikationen, Ausstellungen oder sonstige Veröffentlichungen, dieses mit "Liechtensteinisches Landesarchiv" bzw. "(LI LA)" und der vollständigen Archivsignatur zu kennzeichnen.

In the case of documents with personal details, they are protected until 10 years after the death of the individual or 100 years after the year of birth if unknown.
