WIPO Director General Daren Tang (left) met on September 8, 2024 with Mr. Yin Hong (right), Secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the CPC.

Mr. Yin Hong gave an overview of the strong cultural heritage of the Province and its ambitions to ensure protection for its heritage.

Mr. Tang pledged WIPO's support in helping the Province to reinforce its innovation and creativity ecosystem.

The Director General visited <a href="https://www.wipo.int/directory/en/details.jsp?country_code=CN" rel="noreferrer nofollow">China</a> from September 8-14, 2024 to attend a series of events in Jiangxi Province, including the International Copyright Forum, as well as in the capital Beijing.
