Latvian War of Independence

Information icon Hi Throowa! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Latvian War of Independence that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Sea breeze, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Graham87 (talk) 14:32, 17 October 2024 (UTC) I added this notice due to your change from "Utilisation" to "Utilization". Graham87 (talk) 14:32, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Understood, I accidentally deleted that word so I re-typed it and got it wrong. Also, I am the user that made that subheading originally, so I guess I am entitled to change it? Thanks for the notice anyway. Throowa (talk) 14:36, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Ballistic missile, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Additionally, your edits introduced substantive errors into the article. Please make sure that all of your edits are cited to reliable sources in the future. Notice

The article Flow arrangement has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

One source, little content, empty sections. Maybe move to draftspace

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 10:52, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article was instead moved to Draft:Flow arrangement. Please work to improve it there — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 19:48, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
