Not every swiss participant at Miss Universe was also holding the title "Miss Switzerland". There are quite a few mistakes in this list: Compare with official website. -- Firefox13 (talk) 16:27, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Please can you add the name of Claudine Bühler who was Miss Swiss in 1954 and candidate to miss world. A picture can be found on the Paul Getty Museum, further I am her daughter. Please find below the link of the source https://www.gettyimages.ch/detail/nachrichtenfoto/candidates-to-the-miss-world-1954-beauty-contest-nachrichtenfoto/506005422?language=fr Claudine Buhler (talk) 08:58, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
Done I've found two newspapers that both mention her, and added those as citations. I tried hard to find more on her winning the pageant, but no luck. I checked NYT, AP, and JSTOR, but neither had her. Google Books has archived a lot of old newspapers, and I was able to verify her that way. I'm making the assuming that because she was a candidate for Miss Universe, she did actually win Miss Switzerland.- I don't believe I can use Getty Images as a source.
