== Proposed deletion of Orduniq ==

The article Orduniq has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unreferenced and unimproved almost 15 years. Tagged for notability for over 9 years. Zero reliable sources found online.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Caves of Buckinghamshire

A tag has been placed on Category:Caves of Buckinghamshire indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 00:20, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
California county categories
Hi The Anome, glad to see the bot is back! It looks like the bot is set to add counties for California geocoordinate requests (example). However, these subcategories were deleted as no longer needed earlier this year, as the backlog has been reduced to almost nothing through the hard work of some editors. Could you adjust the bot so that it just leaves the articles in Category:California articles missing geocoordinate data and doesn't add counties? Many thanks, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 07:35, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- I've just used the bot to take a look at its last 500 writes of county-level California coord-missing tags, and it looks like other editors have already cleaned things up. I've modified the bot scripts so it won't generate any more of these in the future. — The Anome (talk) 15:49, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
No worries. I was going to let you know about the county-level categories having been deleted once I was done cleaning up redlinked categories, but when I came here to do that I saw that Pi had already let you know. Wasn't too many pages, thankfully; this run of WantedCategories was longer than usual, but the California county categories weren't the primary culprit in that, so it wasn't too big of a deal. Bearcat (talk) 15:59, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

New merge/notability discussion at Brian Thompson (businessman)
Hello there! I noticed you recently participated in a discussion of a requested move for the article Brian Thompson (businessman). There is a new discussion open on the article talk page, and all participants in the prior move discussion are encouraged to participate. Thank you! FlipandFlopped ツ 22:32, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
It's really improper to drag you through the mud on the talk page, I apologise.
I've looked at it from the third person about the "Trump is Hitler" stuff and I realise you're very righteously concerned about my appearance of impropriety when it comes to creating redirects. I'd like to explain here and continue my line of reasoning, since I've gone and meandered about my business on the wrong place to be making a point.
When I go about on article pages, I usually write phrases about the subjects. When a phrase that I write strikes me, such as "the Israelis are committing genocide", I like to think about it a bit. "Could that be a {{R from search term}}?", I ask myself. In any case, I think letting myself write naturally and to notice myself writing naturally, allows me to practise a method of trying to understand terms people might search for on Google, so they can be directed to a relevant part of the encyclopedia.
The appearance of impropriety makes it look like I'm creating content to prove a point, when in reality I'm only meaning to be thoughtful enough to put myself in their shoes. Now, look at that. I wonder if that term, "put myself in their shoes" might work well as a WP:SOFTREDIRECT to the Wiktionary entry put oneself in someone's shoes? Do you sort of understand how I'm thinking here? BarntToust 15:18, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- And hey presto, there is now a soft redirect at that target. BarntToust 15:25, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

Hello, The Anome
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Bastun, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, List of London nightclubs, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}} - Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bastun}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Support for offensive, uncited edits
The "Deftones" wiki page has just been edited to label the band as a far right, neo-Nazi group with numerous false, unsubstantiated statements about offensive racist political views. On the editor's talk page he has provided one source, which is one single person's personal blog. It's probably his own blog, to be honest. The band has zero right wing affiiation. How can we revert this page back to its original? 2604:3D08:2D7F:5700:873C:C358:12C4:2DD5 (talk) 14:58, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Deftones
The IP and NonRomanRoman were reverting badly referenced BLP violations that changed the GA status quo. I've warned the original author of the edit, Robenceic (talk · contribs). I made the same mistake when I first looked at the diffs. Acroterion (talk) 16:17, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- My mistake - I also got mixed up reading the diffs in my hurry to deal with what looked (erroneously) to me like a rapid-fire vandal. I've unblocked both, with suitable apologies. Thanks for catching this! — The Anome (talk) 16:24, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- Since I made the same error, I can't be critical. See the protection history of the article. Acroterion (talk) 16:25, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- The diffs to and fro are a bit mind-melting. I'm not surprised we all got confused. — The Anome (talk) 16:27, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

- The Nuke feature also now provides links to the userpage of the user whose pages were deleted, and to the pages which were not selected for deletion, after page deletions are queued. This enables easier follow-up admin-actions.
