Tohutō
Kia ora Kiwiisabirdok, thanks for your edits to the Eastern Maori. If tohutō are missing in names, it's best to have the article title fixed first before adding tohutō to pages that link back to an article. For example, you say that Tiaki Ōmana should have a leading tohutō in the surname, but the article is currently titled Tiaki Omana. There needs to be consensus for the inclusion of macrons, but once that's been achieved, the article can be moved to include the macron. The process for achieving that consensus is generally a move discussion, and how to go about it is outlined at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Would you like to learn how to do that? For starters, give that page a read. Schwede66 05:15, 25 March 2025 (UTC)

The "del" tag
Hi. In the Maungapohatu article, you typed "Tāne<del>-</del>nui<del>-</del>ā<del>-</del>rangi", which displays as "Tāne-nui-ā-rangi". I have never seen the "del" tag used before, and I'm curious as to what the purpose of this is. Can you explain it please. Thanks. Nurg (talk) 08:53, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- I think that is because I used visual editing and not source editing, it added the del tag in? I didn't manually add that tag. Kiwiisabirdok (talk) 22:42, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. Nurg (talk) 00:45, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
