Rajya abhisekh of Shivaji.
In the Hindi translation there is the section called Rajyabhishek but it's missing in English translations. CHAUPLAH (talk) 18:46, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

Criminally Incompetent and WRONG information at the beginning
About the beginning of the page, describing Maharaj as someone who apologized and succumbed to Aurangzeb, please fact check and make changes. This is abomination of the highest order.
He never submitted in spirit to Aurangzeb — even his temporary compromises were strategic pauses, not surrender.
His escape from Agra wasn’t an accident of luck — it was a masterclass in intelligence, courage, and resolve.
And his crowning as Chhatrapati was one of the most revolutionary acts of Indian history — declaring self-rule at a time when every ruler claimed legitimacy from some emperor or sultan. Phoenix-022 (talk) 17:45, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

Change 'Shivaji offered passage and his service to the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb to invade the declining Sultanate of Bijapur. After Aurangzeb's departure for the north due to a war of succession, Shivaji conquered territories ceded by Bijapur in the name of the Mughals.[9]: 63 Following his defeat at the hands of Jai Singh I in the Battle of Purandar, Shivaji entered into vassalage with the Mughal empire, assuming the role of a Mughal chief, during this time Shivaji also wrote a series of letters apologising to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for his actions and requested additional honors for his services.'
To 'Shivaji sought limited cooperation with the Mughal Empire by offering passage and military assistance against the declining Bijapur Sultanate, largely as a strategic measure. During Aurangzeb’s absence from the Deccan amid the Mughal war of succession, Shivaji occupied certain Bijapuri territories while nominally acknowledging Mughal authority, a practice consistent with contemporary Deccan political norms. After his defeat by Mirza Raja Jai Singh I, Shivaji entered into the Treaty of Purandar (1665), accepting Mughal suzerainty, a mansab, and the status of a Mughal subordinate. In this context, Shivaji addressed several letters to Aurangzeb using the formal idiom of submission customary in Mughal diplomatic correspondence, expressing loyalty and requesting recognition and honors. Historians generally interpret these actions and letters as pragmatic diplomacy undertaken under military pressure rather than as sincere or lasting submission, as Shivaji subsequently repudiated Mughal authority and re-established independent rule.' ~2025-40295-87 (talk) 06:52, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
