Birthplace
US News says that the subject was born in Hope, but an editor just removed that source and replaced it with an Encyclopedia of Arkansas source that says that the subject was born in Little Rock. I'm not sure which source should prevail here. —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message. 17:23, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There's a different, off-line reference at Hope, Arkansas#Notable people also claiming Hope, sourced to Mike Huckabee's autobio. However, if one looks to an older version of that page, the source is just being used for Mike's birth, and when that entry was simplified it may well be that that edit simply inappropriately slid Sarah's birth in there as well. (It also claims that she was born there alongside him, which is at best strange phrasing.) i do not have a copy of Mike's autobiography; I do not normally consider that a problem, but it fails to serve in this particular instance. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 17:45, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
