Looking at this page it looks like there needs to be more detail given about their songs. So far there is some notes about them, but nothing in great detail.

Case in point is Great Southern Land and Don't Believe Anymore.

Now this is a band that still has had an impact on Australia and our culture, so it is a shame that there isn't much info there in the first place.

But were they really, on either topic? This sentence is unsupported by any reference and doesn't stand up to scrutiny, in my opinion.

I can't see this holds true. Their first single was released in 1980 and at that time, every New Wave and many post punk bands used synthesizers: Simple Minds, Gary Numan, InXS, Talking Heads, Ultravox ... the list goes on. It's a real stretch to call Icehouse "pioneers" on this point.

Again, this appears to be a glib statement with no grounding in fact. When did Icehouse first use a Fairlight CMI? The video for "Taking The Town" shows a Fairlight being played, but that was on their Sidewalk album, released in 1984. Was it used on previous Icehouse recordings?

The Fairlight had been used in popular music much earlier, at least 1982 with Peter Gabriel's Shock The Monkey, and in 1983 with Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Relax. There are probably many more. Again, Icehouse don't appear to be pioneers with the Fairlight either.

I've been working on the discography trying to sort out chronological order for albums and singles. I intend creating a separate Icehouse discography article with the current article providing a link and then only identifying studio releases. This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.

1. Is it well written?

   A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:

   In the 1977-1981: Flowers section, this sentence ---> "Additional musicians used by Flowers in 1978 were Anthony Smith (aka Adam Hall) on keyboards and Don Brown on drums", I don't think that "aka (Adam Hall)" should be written, especially like that. In the 1990-current: Iva Davies and Icehouse section, this sentence ---> "On New Years Eve in 1999, Davies (vocals, guitar), Tognetti (violin), Guy Pratt (bass), Rom=Pari (Taiko - Japanese drums) and Sydney Symphony Orchestra performed The Ghost of Time on the northern forecourt of Sydney Opera House alongside Sydney Harbour and was televised around the world on CNN and other news networks", needs to be fixed, since there's a "=" in the sentence. Same section, this ---> "Davies had been working in 2001, on a proposed Icehouse album to be titled Bi-Polar Poems[39] with tracks available since 2004 from the Official Iva Davies - Icehouse website[40] including "Your God Not Mine" (see External link below)", is it necessary to include the EL into the paragraph of the article? Same section, this sentence ---> "2003 was a busy year for Iva Davies as he contributed "Ghost of Time" and other music to the film score of the Russell Crowe epic Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World", I don't think that the sentence should start with "2003", maybe if adding "In...." Same thing goes for the "2004" sentence.

   Tackled all of these rewording some sentences, deleting some parts; except for "Rom=Pari" the equals sign is part of the Japanese band/artist's name when rendered into English. See amazon.com search. Other searches often show the symbol left out and so use Rom Pari, I don't know the band/artist well enough to know which is definitely correct but have used the form most commonly used in the sources I listed in the Icehouse article, in this case the City of Sydney reference (currently ref #38). In the timeline, Steve Bull is mentioned to have contributed to the band in 2007 only. As I was listening to the recordings of the 'Live in Sydney' concert, I heard that Steve Bull was present there and then, in 2012. I am concerned that this article no longer meets the good article criteria. Some of my concerns are listed below:

• There is lots of uncited text in the article.
• The article uses sources that WP:RS/P does not consider reliable, such as "Rate Your Music" and "IMDB". These should be removed and replaced.
