- ... that one of the oldest European manga and anime fandoms is located in Poland, dating to the mid-90s? Source: Reczulski (2023, pp. 117–118, 266) - book is in Polish, but open access as a pdf so a dedicated reader can translate it via machine translation, if you don't want to just AGF

Overall:
"One of the first" could readily be problematic, as with other "first" hooks. Are there any potential ALTs? Otherwise the article checks out. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:36, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Crisco 1492: Fair point. Here are some ALTs, backed up by the text (and refs cited). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:56, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- ALT1: ...that Polish manga and anime fandom arose in the 1990s and now numbers over 100,000 people?
- ALT2: ...that Polish manga and anime fandom created its first fan mangas and videos in the 1990s?
- Thank you! This looks ready to go now... AGF on the Polish sources. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 05:01, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
Article title
Is there a reason the article uses "manga and anime" as opposed to "anime and manga"? Every other Wikipedia article about a general concept that mentions both has it with anime first (anime and manga, anime and manga fandom, anime and manga convention, glossary of anime and manga, etc), whereas with manga first it's only used in proper nouns. Link20XX (talk) 04:13, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I believe the title should follow the same format at the other pages. I'm gonna WP:BOLDly change the title, hopefully it's not controversial. Di (they-them) (talk) 01:08, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
Why were they illegal?
I don't see an explanation of why there was a first "legal" publication... Al Begamut (talk) 14:58, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

I will be reviewing the article. Z. Patterson (talk) 14:33, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Piotrus: The article is stable, well-written, well-illustrated, and verifiable. It has WP:NOR or WP:COPYVIO. Per WP:GAN/I#R3, I made small changes by switching dates to DMY format, using Oxford spelling, and spelling out a parameter per MOS:RANGE. I am passing this as a GA. I think we could lengthen the article to get it to FA status. Good work. Z. Patterson (talk) 18:33, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
