Dictionary of Serbian Literary Antiquities
@Sadko Regarding this edit, I can't find the referenced book. Where and when was it published, what are the relevant page numbers? The passage is also written in an overly laudatory manner, it should be toned down and be more objective, and frankly having used the dictionary in question I don't have the impression much of that text is true at all.
If I may ask directly - is this passage AI-generated?
Hello, thanks for reaching out. The information. was taken from this event. Here is a photo showing the text from the exhibit. As you can see, I have adhered to the text. If you can, feel free to rephrase it. Thanks. — Sadko(words are wind)21:03, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Sadko Thank you for the response, I was too hasty with the suspicions of AI. However, the crucial problem remains: the inaccessibility of the source (I doubt writing at an exhibition can be counted as a published source :). A book under the title Đura Daničić: Life, Work, Time does not (yet) exist. What I managed to find is Ђуро Даничић: живот, дело, време, not authored by Savić but by a group of authors. This book is mentioned in the catalogue of SANU publications 2023-2025 as being "u štampi", i.e. not yet published at the time of publication of the catalogue. The book is listed in Narodna biblioteka Srbije database here, but the library doesn't yet hold any copies, so it is safe to assume it still hasn't been published. The catalogue also says an English translation is "in preparation", so it will probably be published some time after the Serbian version (both available online as well, I hope). Referencing a yet unpublished work seems inappropriate. However, Savić has already written elsewhere on the dictionary, such as in Научни састанак слависта... #47.1. Would you be interested in incorporating this source into the article instead? If not, I'll hopefully do it myself at some point. — Phazd (talk|contribs) 14:34, 11 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
