Liptovská Teplá (Hungarian: Liptótepla) is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1264.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 517 metres (1,696 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 9.43 km² (3.64 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 1018 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 1031 people by ethnicity 1010 as Slovak, 25 as Not found out, 4 as Other, 3 as Czech, 2 as Hungarian, 2 as French, 1 as Rusyn, 1 as Austrian, 1 as Polish and 1 as German.
