Languages
At this point I’m going to open a discussion regarding the languages on the albums Infobox. Per Template:Infobox album states — “This field should identify what language(s) are used in the lyrics of the album.“ It doesn’t state that just because the entire song isn’t in a different language it can’t be included. But according to @IndianBio: it’s merely just a few phrases and not notable enough. [1] Scheiße contains over 200 lyrics specifically in German, Americano contains over 40 lyrics specifically in Spanish, Bloody Marry only contains 5 lyrics in French. Mind you all of this is sourced. I do believe at least German and Spanish should be included, I’m okay with keeping out French as it’s merely only 5 lyrics. Hopefully other editors will respond and share their thoughts on this. - "Scheiße"? Faux-German words, not German. --Sricsi (talk) 17:09, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Sricsi: is this confirmed? I can’t find a source to it other than random internet group conversations stating it’s just made up German words. Pillowdelight (talk) 17:20, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- You can see it here and here. I think we should keep this information about languages on the article's body. GagaNutellatalk 18:00, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yes! It is faux-German, mostly she's talking "shit", pun intended. —IB [ Poke ] 18:51, 26 September 2022 (UTC)

The Remix and The Collection
Should we include a short section in the article about Born This Way: The Remix and Born This Way: The Collection, similarly to Chromatica#Dawn of Chromatica? They are mentioned in the lead, but nowhere else in the main text. Sricsi (talk) 16:32, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- I think thats a great idea Sricsi —IB [ Poke ] 18:35, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- That's a great idea, but I think we don't need a section about Born This Way: The Collection, just mention it during the "Release and promotion" section. GagaNutellatalk 19:06, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
Ok, I added it. GagaNutella, I included it in a separate section, similarly to the Chromatica article, but feel free to merge it with the Release section if you think that's better. --Sricsi (talk) 20:56, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- I have merged them, because they were not that huge or made impact to have their own section. But thank you for adding, that was missing! GagaNutellatalk 02:55, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
'Born This Way' as her third album? Counting 'Monster' as the second.
Discussion underway at Talk:Lady_Gaga#Revisiting_the_sequencing_of_Gaga's_main_albums:_'Monster'_as_second_album.
See you there. Binksternet (talk) 22:32, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

Oddities with songwriter credits
Hi! Lately, I've been checking and potentially editing articles about albums and songs, to ensure the order and names of writers and producers match what's listed on the physical releases. In the case of this album, there wasn't much to change, as you can see in this edit, because the information already provided matched what's in the CD booklet anyway. However, when I got to the article about Americano, I found there was a slight discrepancy with the writers. After checking various sources, it turns out there's also such an issue with actually 3 other songs: Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, and Highway Unicorn (Road To Love).
Government Hooker – Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay, and Paul Blair aka DJ White Shadow are currently the only ones listed in both the album and song articles, but according to Apple Music and BMI, William Grigahcine (DJ Snake) and Clinton Sparks are also credited.
Americano – Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay, Paul Blair aka DJ White Shadow, and Cheche Alara are credited in the album article, but in the song article, Brian Lee is listed in the infobox and lead as the writer instead of Alara. This is the biggest difference, as Alara is listed in the CD album's booklet, but Lee is listed by Apple Music and BMI instead of Alara.
Bloody Mary – The situation is the same as with Government Hooker, as Grigahcine and Sparks are unlisted here and in the CD album's booklet (nor are they even listed on the back cover of the recent physical single releases of this song), but are listed on Apple Music and BMI.
Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) – The situation is similar to Americano, as Lee is unlisted here and in the booklet, but is listed on Apple Music and BMI.
Apple Music credits are equivalent to those for the entire album on Spotify and TIDAL. I know there are situations (as demonstrated by Teeth, for example) where the liner notes of physical releases don't list certain authors, but organizations like BMI legally do. I wanted to put this here to ask what should be done about it (if anything), especially because the case of Americano is particularly strange – should only Alara be listed, or only Lee be listed, or combine the credits and credit both of them, and if so, should some special note be made about it (like with, again, Teeth).

Need to adapt the total sales please
With this new Rolling Stones article, an adaptation may be needed please. :)
I did in the article but failed to do it with the Certifications parts since it's more technical to me haha.
It's now up to 14 millions copies sold.

- That number is impossible. The guideline WP:CONTEXTMATTERS comes into play, wherein a generally reliable source gets one fact very wrong.
- There's no way the sales of an old album would jump from 6 million worldwide after ten years of sales to 14 million just a few years later. That would mean that the album did better in in the last four years than the first ten, when it was new and exciting. It's ridiculous. Binksternet (talk) 14:42, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- Sounds fair but that's only if the 6 millions number wasn't outdated already a few years ago.
- With no calculations redone to refresh the infos along the years, you could suddenly get a numer that seems huge cause the continual growth wasn't visible.
- That's what to determine I guess. :)
- Thanks for your answer! JulienSorel1965 (talk) 10:50, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
