Translating articles about Ukrainian settlements
Thanks for all your work in translating pages about Ukrainian villages! Just a heads-up: I think because you're translating from some out-of-date versions of articles, you're leaving in outdated info about since-abolished raions the settlements used to be in. For example, your article Ocheretuvate, Vasylkivka Raion refers erroneously to Vasylkivka Raion, which was abolished in 2020. The village is now in Synelnykove Raion. Comment
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Unknown-importance_Oceania_articles most of these items are so far from the subject that I queried the source of the editing of July, and was replied to as if it was expected collateral damage, if I have understood right - however I might have well indeed misread the issue and do hope that I have not offended such mass editing where it is of benefit. From experience so far, I expect most of the 400 + are tagged politics/oceania and very far from the reality. I am not qualified as to the understanding of the mechanics of the massive bot operations in any way - or the processes of ores inside the rater app that I utilise for tagging. However trying to understand some of the talk page items here, I must say as a result of looking at the oceania material that large bot activity makes me very nervous. CPRN Redirect Page proposed for deletion
You created the redirect page for the Canadian Policy Research Network (CPRN). Since the network was shutdown in 2012, the curators of the network content at Carleton College have since donated the CPRN.org domain to the Cerebral Palsy Research Network. While the new CPRN does not yet "rate" as notable for a Wikipedia article ( I have tried), it is the #1 rank for CPRN on Google and our content provides much needed guidance for people with CP. Unfortunately due to issues with the google algorithm, all of our results are labeled "Canadian Policy Research Network" despite being on the Cerebral Palsy Research Network site. I have requested that this redirect page be deleted from Wikipedia as Google staff indicate that this is the source of the labeling of their search engine results. Paulh144 (talk) 23:03, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
- I've changed the CPRN page to be a disambiguation page, rather that a redirect, and also marked it as such on Wikidata. This should hopefully stop the behaviour you are complaining about. I've also updated the Wikidata entries for both the Canadian Policy Research Networks (Q5030484) and the Cerebral Palsy Research Network (Q123207546) to add start and end times for their ownership of the cprn.org domain, and added annotations both on Wikipedia and Wikidata to indicate that the earlier CPRN is defunct; Google are known to use Wikidata data in their search processing. It may take quite some time for changes, if any. from this to ripple through to search engine results. — The Anome (talk) 23:36, 25 November 2023 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:19, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

- News and notes: Beeblebrox ejected from Arbitration Committee following posts on Wikipediocracy
Just as his term was ending!
- In the media: Turmoil on Hebrew Wikipedia, grave dancing, Olga's impact and inspiring Bhutanese nuns
Plus Apple Pay, fiction, registration, expulsion, and elimination!
- Disinformation report: "Wikipedia and the assault on history"
An analysis of a literary mystery.
- In focus: Tens of thousands of freely available sources flagged
Continuing years of efforts to improve free-to-read access.
- Comix: Bold comics for a new age
"I think we ought to read only the kind of comics that wound or stab us. If the comic we're reading doesn't wake us up with a blow to the head, what are we reading for?" — Franz Kafka
- Essay: I am going to die
And so are you.
- Featured content: Real gangsters move in silence
Quite literally, and other fascinating featured articles, pictures and lists
- Traffic report: And it's hard to watch some cricket, in the cold November Rain
If you don't fancy the sport that occupies over 25% of the slots in these lists, there's always movies, celebrities, and political follies to fall back on – or an unusual fired-for-the-weekend CEO.
- Humour: Mandy Rice-Davies Applies
This page in a nutshell: Whether or not someone has denied unsavory allegations — though such a denial may not merit being given equal weight in an article — a worthless shitpost should still be included.

Administrators who do not use notifications are now strongly encouraged to indicate this on their user page.
- Following a motion, the Extended Confirmed Restriction has been amended, removing the allowance for non-extended-confirmed editors to post constructive comments on the "Talk:" namespace.
