Cinematography - Andy Patch

Yes, an editor claiming to be Andy Patch has been removing this information, as currently under discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Film#Odd_situation_at_Saving_Christmas.

That aside, do we typically include the cinematographer in articles for smaller films? - SummerPhD (talk) 04:43, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If your name is listed in the credits for a movie, I’m afraid it’s a matter of record and there’s not much you can do about it. —174.141.182.82 (talk) 18:14, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also, beware of the Streisand effect—if you persist, you may become known for trying to distance yourself from this movie. —174.141.182.82 (talk) 18:20, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Does Kirk Cameron really appear as himself?

See [1].

Does Kirk Cameron really appear as himself? As I recall he appeared as a character named "Kirk" but I don't recall whether the character was ever called Kirk Cameron or the family called the Cameron family. For what it is worth, IMDB just calls the character "Kirk". --Guy Macon (talk) 03:33, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Cameron plays a fictionalized version of himself named Kirk. This is mentioned in the lead paragraph. So, the change to the Cast section is a good one, I would say. Cameron plays Kirk, not himself. Mudwater (Talk) 04:51, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I figured, but I wanted to be sure.
Interesting bit of trivia: it is currently the third worse rated movie on IMDB[2] and we have articles on the two that beat it - Daniel – Der Zauberer and Smolensk (film) --Guy Macon (talk) 05:34, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
