let bygones be bygones

If you promise me that this is the end, and all other disputes in the future will be resolved through discussion of sources, rather than emotions... I see no reason why we can't collaborate greatly in the future. I have many flaws, but one of my best qualities is that I have a very short memory :) PS, you are correct regarding the removal of Malenkov from the USSR leader section in the infobox, but I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about it...

I think the only way to get ErickTheMerrick to stop is to block him; what do you think? We already have sufficient evidence of bad behavior, which can be characterized as not following up on conclusions from discussions and refusing to engage in further discussion. What do you think?--TheUzbek (talk) 06:59, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't do such a thing. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 07:21, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So what is the solution, then? TheUzbek (talk) 13:25, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind. He is very much an issue. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 20:33, 22 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Avoiding cut-and-paste moves

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Reichsgau Danzig-West Prussia a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Reichsgau Danzig-Westpreußen. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Standard notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Syrian Civil War and ISIL. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Kingdom of Nangchen moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Kingdom of Nangchen. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 12:19, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This seems fair. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 19:29, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:Kingdom of Prussia § Flags (again). Please discuss here before reverting again (per WP:BRD and keeping in mind The three-revert rule) Cakelot1 ☞️ talk 22:05, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Added references to Kingdom of Nangchen

Hi there, I have added several references (citations) for an article you created. Reliable sources are a must to make your article meet the criterias of WP:NOTABILITY or else, they might get deleted. The following might be very helpful for your future edits-

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Saddam Hussein. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Skitash (talk) 22:17, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No consensus reached on what image should replace the 1998 image. Disputed content is on you.
I hope this helps! TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 22:19, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Saddam Hussein, you may be blocked from editing. Skitash (talk) 11:40, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed content must be resolved first by consensus. Because no consensus was reached to replace the 1998 image, nor was there consensus to specifically replace said image with the 1960s portrait, the original image stays. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 00:37, 10 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are breaching the WP:3RR rule. If you don't revert your changes soon, I will get administrators to look at this case.

You are forcing your opinion on Wikipedia, forcing WP:Original Research on Wikipedia. It does not look good. This needs to stop. TheUzbek (talk) 06:30, 10 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, TheUzbek!
No I'm not.
I hope this helps! TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 06:46, 10 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then I will report you for breaching WP rules; there is a good chance you will get blocked.
Hopefully, in the future, you will understand that the world does not revolve around you. You can't force your opinions on Wikipedia. You clearly have no understanding of what a communist state is, how it functions, and the institutions that make it a communist state, which makes this whole conflict even more absurd. I advise you to actually grasp the study area you edit before actually making edits.. TheUzbek (talk) 17:05, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You were blocked for behavior like this before. I hope you will eventually learn from your frequent mistakes. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 02:10, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have not engaged in edit wars; I have participated in discussions. How is my behaviour blockable? Everything I have done is based on reliable sources; you based you're arguments on personal opinions. Frankly, from what I can gather, you have been reverted on nearly all pages, and still you continue. So stop pretending this is about me! TheUzbek (talk) 05:16, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not getting consensus to change the form to 'people's democratic state' and using sources out of context to paint a narrative sounds pretty disruptive to me, but sure. We'll say that. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 21:52, 4 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mongolian People's Republic. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. It's so crazy how I literally am and said I was doing that brah TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 22:08, 4 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No, that is absolutely not how it works, that you just blitz your preferred versions in—and then others have to impress you in order to maybe establish consensus for changing them back. You do not get to hold articles hostage like that—that's an even more egregious level of willing disruption. You have clear unifying issues here, and you did the B in BRD, now you have to actually make your case as the one who wants to make many similar changes against articles with variously established consensuses. Remsense 🌈  22:11, 4 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What 'consensus'? Bring this up with TheUzbek. TheodoresTomfooleries (talk) 22:14, 4 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Fascist Italy

I don't think I'm gonna get concensus although I created one at least in that article's talk page. Fascist Italy's article is rarely at least edited by some editors. RatMan7108 (talk) 15:10, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited North Korea, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kim family. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:58, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
