Your deletions to Ben Bradley (politician)

I have restored the content you deleted, where you left the following edit summaries:

Wikipedia has policies against using certain tabloid-type sources, hence other sources are deemed applicable.

These deletions were from the lede (lead, intro), otherwise known as executive summary. This content was an extract, reflecting the main body of headed-section text, and is important for anyone wanting a quick snapshot without trawling laboriously through the sections.

I am a 12-year veteran editor; I wrote the content and, IMO, all was neutral point of view, using the correct wiki-tone, and correctly, reputably sourced in the lower sections. I would also mention a necessary wiki-requirement of paraphrasing.

Lede references are optional, but not essential, and I didn't want to festoon the lede with unnecessary, possibly distracting inline citation boxes.

Your edit summaries are vehement, but misguided, and suggest to me that you may be connected to Ben as a supporter or activist.

Ben has been criticised for his multiple-jobs, has lost a considerable amount of income, has stepped-down as Leader, and has stated his time as a councillor will end at next year's May elections. He is known to live 15 miles from his former parliamentary-constituency of Mansfield. The latter has not been included, but the other aspects are essential.

I will be around to monitor this article. If you are not satisfied with the rationales explained, please raise any further concerns at Talk:Ben Bradley (politician), where other, non-involved editors can offer an opinion. Thank you.-- 82.13.47.210 (talk) 19:11, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
