I've deleted the word acclaimed that appeared in the intro, as it is not written with a neutral point of view. If the architecture of the Tech Center is acclaimed, or if something else about it is acclaimed, as it perhaps is, then the article should say so, and attribute a meaningful source. ... that when it was completed, the General Motors Technical Center was referred to as the "Versailles of Industry"? Source: Friedman, Alice T. (2010). American Glamour and the Evolution of Modern Architecture. Yale University Press. p. 126.
ALT6: ... that the General Motors Technical Center had a fountain and water tower to compensate for the lack of high-rise buildings? Source: Merkel, Jayne (2005). Eero Saarinen. Phaidon. pp. 72-73.
Overall: Good job! All hooks check out (I AGF on paywalled sources) and I think ALT1, ALT5 and ALT7 are the most interesting ones. Some of the others are a bit vague and I don't really like that ALT0 and ALT2 have unattributed quotations with promotional language, but it's not a serious issue. @Uriahheep228: Thanks for the review. I tweaked ALT1 slightly ("appearances by Indonesia's president" → "an appearance by Indonesia's president") but I don't think this should impact the hook substantially. Epicgenius (talk) 18:24, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
