Conflict of interest and notability
Arnulf Becker Lorca is a Chilean scholar of international law. As linked in the draft, his main claim for academic notability is the Criterion 5 of Wikipedia:NACADEMIC, as he holds a chair at the European University Institute, a prestigious institution that hires a small number of full professors, usually from other high-end institutions. As a highly-cited scholar whose main book was reviewed in prestigious legal journals, he also has some claim towards Criterion 1, but here one's mileage may vary. Nonetheless, I believe that a page on him would contribute to extend Wikipedia's coverage of Latin American legal scholars.
I would be happy to develop further this draft to make sure it is up to Wikipedia's standards. And, as required, I use this post to reinforce the paid conflict of interest disclosed in my user page. Longicaudis (talk) 10:51, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
