Hnilec (Hungarian: Nyilas) is a village and municipality in the Spišská Nová Ves District in the Košice Region of central-eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1290.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 651 metres (2,136 ft)[3] and covers an area of 27.08 km2 (10.46 sq mi) (2024).[4]
