@Chithrima hi, I assume you mean Draft:Madhu Sudan V. It looks like you had some advice from @ChrysGalley. You need to find several independent, high-quality sources with more than a sentence or two about him. Interviews or movie databases aren't great for this. The Times of India source could work, but as ChrysGalley said, it isn't always grat: see WP:TIMESOFINDIA. Can you find a couple more profiles on this person like that one, from reputable newspapers? If you can, the article will probably be accepted. Rusalkii (talk) 23:07, 25 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Kaebi (11:05, 5 January 2026)

Hello --Kaebi (talk) 11:05, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to reach out to you and say thank you for the edit(s) you performed to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2026 January 5#Current U.S. state representative redirects after I relisted it. After all the work you did, I went ahead and closed it, though, since the nominator changed the nomination further to a point where their edits were rather detrimental to determining consensus in that discussion. I was hoping for a better result, but the nominator went ahead and solidified the WP:TRAINWRECK. Steel1943 (talk) 18:49, 6 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Translation?

Hi Rusalkii, I'm looking for a Russian speaker to help me interpret this, I came across Mysterious Ways (album), but I'm not sure if this is an accurate translation of the original title. I found it from the redirect Пути неисповедимы (the original Russian title), which is machine translating to "The Ways Are Inscrutable". The titles in the references for the article also say "The Ways Are Inscrutable". So I'm trying to figure out where "Mysterious Ways" came from, and I search the original Russian title. Google gives me a different title saying "Ways are unfathomable", so... cool. And Google Translate gives me "The ways of fate are inscrutable" btw. I'm just plain confused now, do you have any idea what the best English translation would be? Sophisticatedevening(talk) 18:06, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm! Honestly none of those are terrible, except the Google translate one which invented "fate" out of thin air. I'd go with "Unfathomable Ways" myself but "Inscrutable Ways" works about as well and "Mysterious Ways" is worse but not a mistranslation, I'd say. The grammar also allows for "The ways are [adjective]" but that works worse as a title.
Now, haven't actually looked where the title comes from, if there's a set usage on English obviously we should go with that regardless of my translation opinions. Rusalkii (talk) 18:36, 16 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
