Reversion of Raymond Chen (Microsoft) making it not a mere redirect
Your edit message "rv promo" I imagine means yiu thought the article was too promotional? I was trying to establish notability. How can I do this without it being too promotional? —Sonarpulse ‡ Talk 17:40, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
- There was wording in the article that made it seem promotional, specifically,
The blog is widely read.
Even if not promotional, someone would've stepped in and asked {{By whom}}? Or even more, would have done the exact same thing I did with a different revert reason as primary sources are not sufficient to establish notability. Jalen Barks (Woof) 18:25, 24 December 2025 (UTC)- What would primary sources being suffient the establish notability look like in the case of someone along these lines? There is much media (such as the one I referenced) referring to having read the blog posts, and others doing the same. —Sonarpulse ‡ Talk 01:26, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- To clarify here, if a third party outlet were to cover this individual, there would be a case. I would also take a look at WP:GNG to see what we're generally looking for here. Jalen Barks (Woof) 02:19, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- OK how's the citation in https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/27/technology/microsoft-blue-screen-death-windows.html do for a more reputable 3rd party outlet? —Sonarpulse ‡ Talk 05:32, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
- That works. New York Times has already proven to be reliable, so there's your starting point. You might be able to work off that, but just be aware that another editor might still do the same thing I did. If you have any further questions regarding this stuff, I highly recommend seeking answers from other editors at the teahouse. I do not regular this location, but there will always be an editor willing to help you out there.

Mirrors No3
You reverted all my edits, didn't you? Why did you reverted correction of a typo? Do you think as an English native speaker that saying "by a local women" is correct? Please teach me a correct English. And you may not write me on my tak page annoucing every revertion that you make with my edits. I try to make wikipedia better, but you are seemingly are against me personally for some reason? Else why to revert all without reading what I've written? Ales (talk) 20:17, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
- My apologies, I only saw your addition of
(probably the family has penetrated her house and left a pie there, congratulating Laura with her passed exam in such a way)
and treated this as vandalism. I do not care if the rest is restored following our conversation here. Jalen Barks (Woof) 20:19, 1 January 2026 (UTC) - I won't restore anything, letting your edit returning a typo to the article as the last one and as an example from the English native speaker how people shall write in English. You know better. And you are certainly making the Wikipedia greater by your revertions. Adding a sentence is a huge vandalism. Vandals are crashing monuments and writing obscene lexics in public pages - so did I as you think. I care for other languages' wiki, as you are guarding the purity of English one, it is in your good hands. Let the article further be such a stub as it is now.Ales (talk) 20:26, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
- You do not need to keep attacking me over this. I have restored the intended edit before what I saw was vandalism. Jalen Barks (Woof) 20:28, 1 January 2026 (UTC)

Interlochen sockpuppetry
Hi, JalenBanks, thanks for your message. Sorry, I'm moving house at the moment so don't have a lot of spare time for Wikipedia. I'll have a look in a couple of weeks once I'm freer. Sorry not to be more helpful. You could also contact the blocking admin for those two accounts - looks like it was Ponyo. Thanks for all your work on that article. Best wishes, Tacyarg (talk) 14:41, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
