Time of day

It might make sense to mention that the optimal time to do the practice is in the early morning just before or after sunrise since wind picks up in the afternoon due to the sun heating the ground which creates rising air currents. It's surprising to me how many people I meet aren't aware of this natural climatic phenomenon and wonder why it is so windy in the afternoon. Viriditas (talk) 21:35, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am so sorry for my lateness and delay - I have been not very well. Well done on this article! Earwig shows no copyright issues and I see no major issues so here are my small comments:

  • "stating that she had not invented it" - For clarity, I think this should be a separate sentence.
    • Done.
  • "each board was fitted with a small anchor." - Could you please clarify this? Was this just in 2013 or is it standard practise for the sport in Beverly Harbor?
    • Edited. It was done for the strong currents there.
  • Could you please link or briefly explain what "imprecise moves", "prow", "foam plastic deck pad" and "elastic bungee grid" are for readers unfamiliar with yoga and paddleboarding?
    • Added.
  • "not least to stay out of the water" - Could you please reword this? I struggled to understand what it means

  • Could you please say who or from where Jessica Matthews is from?

  1. Is there any less positive reception that could be added to make the article more balanced?
