Unbelievable

Good gawd, can we please transcribe the articel into Modern English? This goofy Victorian English is so hard to read and just nonsensical... 2003:D5:D74A:7000:ADD5:2857:A9B3:163F (talk) 22:37, 11 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please help out by quoting some examples? Thanks. Britmax (talk) 18:12, 23 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Johnny Savile

His brother Johnny also committed sex attacks, specifically at Springfield Hospital. This is worth a mention either here or the wider abuse sub-article.[1] 209.93.85.118 (talk) 23:11, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article you link describes allegations only. A later report, also by the BBC, states that reports confirmed the abuse. [1] If this belongs anywhere, it is probably in the abuse article, though I'm not sure whether inclusion would be justified? I assume Johnny is dead - if he isn't, WP:BLP considerations would apply. Please remove the “Sir” in front of Saville’s title - his knighthood was withdrawn by both the Govt body & The Royal Honours Committee 2A00:23C5:AD5A:7801:351A:90B9:B43F:554E (talk) 22:29, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.
I also cannot tell where exactly you want this edit. On top of this, I am not sure this edit qualifies as "uncontroversial". I look forward to your reply, Slomo666 (talk) 22:47, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This has been requested numerous times. The article text explains why the government was unable to do this under the current rules.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 07:01, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

'Sir'

His knighthood was posthumously removed. ~2025-43765-49 (talk) 23:20, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck finding a reliable source for that. We don't base article content on random stuff people claim. AndyTheGrump (talk) 23:58, 29 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
