Oborín (Hungarian: Abara) is a village and large municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1221.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 104 metres (341 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 43.78 km² (16.90 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 687 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 692 people by ethnicity 401 as Hungarian, 272 as Slovak, 50 as Not found out, 16 as Romani, 2 as Czech and 1 as Ukrainian.
