Is there anyone who is able to update the map on members of the BRI to reflect recent developments such as Italy exiting the initiative? Ker3243 (talk)15:17, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Estonia and Philipinnes
I'm adding the topic of Estonia allegedly leaving BRI. If the source if accurate, and estonia did leave BRI, then the map should also reflect that. I'm not sure if the sources mentioned for Philippines leaving BRI are accurate however Ker3243 (talk)16:01, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok so Philippines may have dropped out but the sources should be replaced. Here is a link from DW news which clearly states that Phillipines exited BRI. Another from Newsweek and Asia times
I've recently updated the article. However, I could not find any reliable sources about the Baltics MoU, I heard the Estonian foreign minister didn't renew it but clarification is needed for other countries.
Please add to ecology section about this years collapse of the BRI Kafue River Dam and poisoning of the Zambian Water. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2025-35151-75 (talk) 23:20, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Suggested academic source on inclusive growth impacts
I would like to suggest adding a peer-reviewed academic source that empirically examines the relationship between macroeconomic policy frameworks and inclusive economic growth outcomes in Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries.
The study uses cross-country data and contributes evidence relevant to discussions on development impacts and policy effectiveness:
Bashir, R., Arshad, T., & Sheikh, M. R. (2025). "Macroeconomic Policies and Inclusive Economic Growth in BRI Countries." Contemporary Journal of Social Science Review.
