Draft:Ollie Rose
Comment: Only substantial change since the previous decline is a reference from the subject's employer. Greenman (talk) 08:57, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
Comment: The only secondary source coverage is from Peterborough Telegraph, which while it helps to establish notability, is not enough on it's own per WP:SPORTBASIC and WP:GNG requirement of multiple secondary sources with significant coverage (beyond WP:ROUTINE in this case). Based on searching I only otherwise found this article, with the remaining articles being routine game coverage or from WP:PRIMARY sources. You are welcome to add that source, search for more coverage, and re-submit, although this still might be WP:TOOSOON. All the best. CNC (talk) 11:28, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

Oliver James Rose (born 19 March 2006) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for National League side Scunthorpe United.
Career
Rose joined the Peterborough United academy at the age of nine, and quickly moved up the various age groups.[2]
On 13 November 2024, Rose joined Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Corby Town on an initial one-month work experience loan. He made 4 appearances during the month of November, subsequently extending this loan deal until January, by which time he had made 11 appearances.[3]
Upon his return from loan, Rose signed his first professional contract with Peterborough on 14 May 2024.[2] He was regularly involved with the first team during 2024 pre-season, including scoring in a 4–3 friendly victory over Notts County.[4]
On 3 September 2024, Rose made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute for Jadel Katongo in a 2–1 EFL Trophy victory over Gillingham.[5] He then made his league debut, coming on as a late substitute in a 5–1 victory over Blackpool.[6]
On 17 January 2025, Rose joined National League North side Scunthorpe United on loan for an initial month which was later extended until the end of the season.[7]
Rose signed permanently for Scunthorpe on 1 August 2025, receiving the number 2 jersey.[8] He scored his first goal in senior football in a 3–2 away victory vs Sutton United on 23 August 2025.[9]
