Early life and career
Chandrasekaran studied electronics and communication engineering at PSG College of Technology in Tamil Nadu, India. He later earned a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, specialising in networking and communications.[4]
Chandrasekaran served as Chief Product Officer at Bharti Airtel, where he led product design and strategy across mobile, digital and broadband services.[5]
He later became Chief Product Officer at Snapdeal, contributing to its transition toward a mobile-first e-commerce platform and working on search, logistics experience and user engagement.[6]
Chandrasekaran joined the Facebook Messenger team as Director of Product, working on messaging features, communication tools for users and businesses, and chat-based interaction models.[7]
He subsequently served as Executive Vice President of Product Management at Five9, overseeing enterprise product roadmaps, customer experience tools and early initiatives in AI-assisted contact center technologies.[8][9]
