Kleber Mendonça Filho article

Please, @PepGuardi, stop with your awards season narratives, now at Kleber Mendonça Filho's article. Feel free to add the political persecution at the career section, but with reliable sources. You're not helping anyone creating a mess in The Secret Agent related pages. Martineden83 (talk) 20:17, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Political discussions are usually not featured in the introduction. Martineden83 (talk) 17:50, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am not opposing to the removal of Political discussions from introduction. On this matter I think you are right. It simply because you simply removed almost everything I contributed. Kleber page was really poor and had very few relevant information. Writing takes my personalç lesure time, so it looks disrespectful simply removing information and sources that I spent a lot of of time resaerching. It is not like I came here for disrupt the article, and you did not not nice words. And more importantly I had NO IDEA you were Martinelli, who is helping me to take care of The Secret Agent page, I only realised that when I posted the warning on your talk page. I did not even know we could change our username Martineden83 . PepGuardi (talk) 18:29, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@PepGuardi, Awards section created, but first: take a look at Trier page. Only relevant awards can be added in personal pages. So do not put there all awards Kleber Mendonça Filho has listed at IMDB or any other place.
Minor awards generally are used only in the film page. Martineden83 (talk) 20:38, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for create the section. But what do you mean by “take a look at Trier page. Only relevant awards can be added”? KMF is not an European or Nordic, hence he cannot win European awards like Trier. Brazilian films are not eligible for the European Awards, but they are eligible for continental South American and Latin American awards. Brazilians Films cannot be nominated for the Danish Film Academy Robert Award, but they can nominated nominated for the Brazilian Film Academy awards. While Trier has listed awards in Finland film festivals, which is only of regional relevance, Kleber movies have awards in festivals like Lima and Gramado, which are equally regionally relevant. Just mentioned this because all those European awards and festivals awards are listed in Trier awards table, but I noticed that the section you created for TSA awards you didn’t include any Brazil or South American film festivals awards. Hopefully this is not you suggesting that awards outside the USA and Europe are not relevant, this would be pretty crazy to say in a place like Wikipedia. I hope you just don’t added them because you don’t know Brazilian and a South American/Latin American award and festivals. I guess this is why I’m Wikipedia rules there’s nothing about “only relevant awards are allowed”, we don’t want live in a European where relevancy are limited to Europe and North America.
But I believe you only added awards that you had to add, and that’s not a statement about the only awards in KMF career that you consider relevant (specially considering which awards are listed on Trier award section). Anyways, I don’t have time to add more awards this weekend, I’m only doing this next week. PepGuardi (talk) 22:14, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can you just calm down for once? Lima and Rio are mid-range festivals, i guess. I was talking about small sized fests. You really need to read the room before jumping into conclusions. @PepGuardi
Anyway, i only added big festivals because they have many sources. You will need reliable sources for anything else. Martineden83 (talk) 23:47, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jamie Eilat. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to IndieWire have been undone because they appeared to be promotional, and because you didn't provide any reliable sources. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. It's also important that article content be verifiable through the use of citations. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. The Secret Agent Silverware bloat

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Martineden83 (talk) 16:14, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your litterally edit warring my friend, and all my contribution are far away from vandalist. And you are just doing this after you having broken the three revertion rule. And I gave you more than one chance to keep a friendly conversation. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AMartineden83&diff=1325676089&oldid=1325673357 PepGuardi (talk) 16:19, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The three reversion rule is not applied when you violate a guideline, MOS:FILMACCOLADES, numerous times. Martineden83 (talk) 16:21, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I did not violate it. PepGuardi (talk) 16:22, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Since you are refusing to read the article: WP:MOSFILM
  • MOS:FILMLEAD: "Summarize awards and achievements using proper context in a later paragraph, and avoid descriptive phrases like "award-winning""
  • MOS:FILMACCOLADES: "Accolades that a film receives can be covered in their own section. This may include award nominations and wins, recognition from film critics' circles, and qualifying in a list of critically acclaimed films (e.g., AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies)."
  • MOS:NOTLEDE: "Wikipedia lead sections are not written in news style."
Martineden83 (talk) 16:32, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Now look at the changes I made: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Secret_Agent_%282025_film%29&diff=1325671627&oldid=1325671236
where is the vandalism?! Where are the broken rules? Do you think it’s fair those accusations just because I was insisting in that edit? I reported the edit war because I thought you’d stop and discuss with me. I never even could image you’d go that far, honestly.
if when you disagree with me what you think should always prevail, just tell me and I will not edit this article anymore. It’s tiring I’m not getting payed for that and I feel like I was hitting a wall. It’s like we can never disagree, you opinion have always to prevail. But the worst part is you being unfair with me, it’s impossible that you really believe I’m a troll or someone acting on bad faith to damage this article. This whole caos is simple based on where the information should be. You def let me down, you accused me of “narrative” like that other guy that was clearly to avoid us to list the movie awards. Few weeks later you did the same. And it’s not even because you disagree with the info it’s just you didn’t want it in intro. PepGuardi (talk) 16:53, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

December 2025

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Trifecta (awards season) when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 22:41, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Heu @Zackmann08 Thank you very much for fixing it. I’ll take a look at what I did wrong. Best, ~2025-39739-92 (talk) 22:48, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
